In order to effectively demonstrate your findings you will need to begin with a claim: Has your writing changed? How? Or, what have you been focusing on in the assignments for this class, and what effect has that focus had on your writing? You should start by embedding this claim, or thesis, into an introductory paragraph. You will then want to describe your writing, as well as your revision and editing processes, using specific evidence (ie, quotes) from your own papers to support your initial claim (refer back to your essays by their titles). A good essay will synthesize these facets of your writing into a unified argument about your own progress. Your final product, therefore, should be a clear, coherent, and thesis-driven analysis of your own writing.
